About Us

PRESIDENT

Deanna serves as President of 3D Company, where she plays a central role in guiding the organization’s operations, growth, and family culture.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and alongside her husband Don, co-founded 3D in 2000, starting the business with a home equity line of credit to purchase their first backhoe. Over the past 26 years, Deanna has worn nearly every hat in the company, which is a true reflection of her hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial spirit.

Today, she focuses primarily on bidding and certifications, project management, estimating, and overseeing all accounting functions. Under her leadership, 3D evolved from pre-engineered building construction into a specialized road construction firm in 2009.

Outside of work, Deanna enjoys golf, boating, fishing, and spending time with family at Lake Tippecanoe and in Cape Coral, Florida.

LEAD ESTIMATOR

Don’s decades of experience in construction management have helped 3D earn a regional reputation for on-time and within budget success.

Born and raised in Muncie, Don’s direct approach has earned him and the company a trusted and reliable reputation. His partnership with Deanna continues to lead the company into successful projects that improve communities.

Don loves helping control East Central Indiana’s coyote population as well as pulling some largemouth bass from the fresh waters in Okeechobee Florida.

PROJECT MANAGER

Jacob brings over 25 years of hands-on experience as an operator, foreman, and superintendent into his role as a Project Manager. He oversees all phases of construction projects, from initial estimating through final construction. He manages budgets and timelines and coordinates manpower and equipment seamlessly to ensure safe and successful projects.

Jacob is known for his strong work ethic and leadership skills, both on the site and at home. He is a dedicated family man with 4 children, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and cooking and smoking meats. He also practices martial arts, so test his negotiation skills at your own risk.

CONTROLLER

Malinda brings an accounting degree and over 25 years experience to her role, including public accounting and a "Big Five" stint. She handles human resources, IT, contracts, billing, accounting, and payroll. If it has to do with numbers, Malinda is involved. 

Malinda enjoys traveling with her husband to IndyCar races (he works on the AMR Safety Team), spending time with her four adult children, loving on her three Yorkie-Poo’s and boating with friends. 

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

In this role, Dalin attends pre-bid, bid openings, pre-construction meetings and progress meetings while also managing local jobs and assisting Jacob in hitting timelines and budgets. As a Gen Z-er, Dalin also has to play in house IT troubleshooter when things go awry. 

OFFICE MANAGER & BIDDING ASSISTANT

Erin serves as Office Manager and Bidding Coordinator, supporting daily operations and helping keep projects moving efficiently. She manages office communications, scheduling, and accounts payable.

In the bidding process, she helps identify opportunities, gathers subcontractor and supplier quotes, and assists with preparing estimates and bid documents. Once projects are awarded, she helps set up jobs in company systems, prepares project books for foremen, and coordinates purchase orders. She also oversees company insurance needs.

Outside of work, she enjoys baking, traveling to Dale Hollow, attending concerts, and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football.
